Project Overview:
Happiness No.5 Youth Public Welfare Development Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "Happiness No.5") is China’s first public welfare center dedicated to serving a national high-tech industrial development zone. Initiated and operated by the Zijiang Public Welfare Foundation, it is fully funded by the Shanghai Zizhu National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.
The mission of Happiness No.5 is to foster a vibrant cultural atmosphere within the industrial park, promote youth career development, disseminate positive educational concepts, and cultivate healthy and sustainable lifestyles. By focusing on the well-being and growth of individuals, families, and workplaces, the center aims to enhance corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the park, strengthen its soft power, and build a happier, more harmonious community.
To date, Happiness No.5 has incubated several socially impactful sub-projects, including:

The Shanghai Zijiang Public Welfare Foundation supports this research initiative to accelerate the development of theoretical frameworks in impact investment. By exploring innovative approaches that bridge philanthropic missions with sustainable business models, the project aims to advance the integration of social impact and financial returns, paving the way for more effective and scalable solutions in China's public welfare sector.
