  1. About Zijiang MPS Scholarship

The Shanghai Zijiang Charity Foundation, established on July 21, 2015, is a non-public fundraising foundation approved by the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau. It was initiated and fully endowed with RMB 20 million in seed funding by Mr. Shen Wen, Chairman and President of Shanghai Zijiang (Group) Co., Ltd.

In 2020, the Zijiang Charity Foundation was officially recognized as a philanthropic organization. Committed to advancing social welfare, it focuses on:

  • Poverty alleviation & disaster relief
  • Supporting scientific research & education
  • Empowering youth development & innovation

Since its inception, the foundation has dedicated itself to providing resources and support for social innovation and charitable causes. By collaborating with visionary foundations, corporations, universities, and scholars, it explores the best ways to promote philanthropic ideas and practices.

  1. Commitment to Talent Development

The Zijiang Charity Foundation prioritizes innovative education for charity professionals, launching initiatives such as:

  • Jiao Tong University Social Responsibility Investment Fund
  • East China Normal University Zijiang Philanthropy Talent Development Fund
  • Fudan University Philosophy School Zijiang Philanthropy Fund

These programs support student development, faculty growth, infrastructure, and disciplinary advancement, contributing to China’s educational progress.

In January 2024, the foundation established the Zijiang MPS Scholarship at the Guangzhou Academy of Philanthropy (GAP), designed to:

1.Sponsor outstanding applicants with leadership potential for the MPS program

  1. Prioritize candidates from East & North China(applicants from Central & Northeast China may also be considered)

2025 Scholarship Quota:

Final selections will be based on applicant qualifications.

Criteria:

  • Must meet GAP’s admission standards
  • Prioritygiven to applicants from East & North China
  • Candidates from Central & Northeast Chinamay be considered case-by-case
  • Scholarship Coverage:Half-tuition (final awards jointly decided by GAP & Zijiang Foundation)
